Save the date:

Hello my Hawkeye, Greyhound and Stingray Friends. Tom DuLang, your Event Planner here.

We had a great Spring Fling at Ballyhoos. But that was way back then. It was a huge smash; by now you should all be sober and thirsty for a typical over the top extravaganza celebrating the Fall season.

Not to worry fun seekers, we have a plan. Wanna join the party?? Of course you do!!

As part of the Hawkeye Week party package, our Fall Bash Happy Hour will follow the Thursday Golf Tournament. Mark the date -15 October and the place - Three Notch'd Brewery & Craft Kitchen in Town Center for our next Community Happy Hour.

Launch: 1700

Recovery: 2x Motrin and black coffee

You know the rules… there aren’t any. Feel free to spread the word far and wide. Let me know if you can make it.

Another great gathering at Dockside with VAW-120 CO and XO attending along with several alleged America's Most Wanted ;).
Special thanks to Rudy Costanzo for his work in hosting these luncheons!

The Norfolk VVVF Foundation chapter hosted a luncheon on July 16th at the Dockside in VIrginia Beach. We had a large group of ~ 30 attending. Great to see some locals and out-of-towners.  Awesome to have Jay WIlkins (D.C.), Steve Guse (Williamsburg) and Hal Bernsen (Chapel Hill) joining us. Others included VInce Bowers, Vern Huber, Mike Winslow (with a beard), BIll McCarthy, Bear, John Klemec, JC Oberst (cut out of the photo), Rick Keyes, Frank Hunt (and spouse), Andy Murphy, Jim Porter, Du Lang, Scuff Neff, Mike Borza, Bill Brofft, Lips (not pictured), and Rudy (along with a fellow pilot friend of Rudy that took great airborne COD photos). Everyone had a great time and there were plenty of sea stories. Du Lang is starting to plan the Fall Fling for October - will get the brief out soonest. Please join us at our next gathering.

Our next meeting will be 16 July 2026 from 1130 - 1300 at Dockside Inn, 3311 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.  Come join us for bald-faced lies (i.e., 'sea stories') and great food!  Let Rudy Costanzo know if you plan on attending.

By all reports a great success and included a mini-Steeljaw Reunion
