The Norfolk VVVF Foundation chapter hosted a luncheon on July 16th at the Dockside in VIrginia Beach. We had a large group of ~ 30 attending. Great to see some locals and out-of-towners. Awesome to have Jay WIlkins (D.C.), Steve Guse (Williamsburg) and Hal Bernsen (Chapel Hill) joining us. Others included VInce Bowers, Vern Huber, Mike Winslow (with a beard), BIll McCarthy, Bear, John Klemec, JC Oberst (cut out of the photo), Rick Keyes, Frank Hunt (and spouse), Andy Murphy, Jim Porter, Du Lang, Scuff Neff, Mike Borza, Bill Brofft, Lips (not pictured), and Rudy (along with a fellow pilot friend of Rudy that took great airborne COD photos). Everyone had a great time and there were plenty of sea stories. Du Lang is starting to plan the Fall Fling for October - will get the brief out soonest. Please join us at our next gathering.
